We are seeking a talented professional to join our CFO Services team. Rehmann's Business Solutions group combines executive level talent with the latest technology tools to provide industry-specific financial guidance that drive and maximize bottom-line results. Our professionals provide our clients with flexible, customized financial solutions that support their key strategic decisions and day-to-day operations. Projects for this team focus on the following areas:

  • Provide fractional CFO support

  • Improve month-end closing and analysis

  • Implement cash management, budgeting and forecasting tools

  • Perform cost studies and profitability analysis

  • Accounting department assessments

  • ERP software utilization studies

We provide additional bandwidth, expertise and consistent execution to allow business owners to focus on what they do best and provide confidence that they have the right information to make good business decisions.

How You'll Make an Impact:

This position will report to a CFO consultant and provide technical and analytical support for various types of client projects. This position will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Serve as an active team member on one of our consulting teams

  • Work with other team members to execute the project scope and deliverables

  • Interface with clients on collecting and analyzing data for developing solutions

  • Support efforts to drive profitability and improved asset utilization at our clients

  • Provide project management for attaining key milestones

  • Provide direction and guidance to staff level team members

  • Effectively communicate project timing and progress to clients

Your Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:

3-7 years of work experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager with the following skillset:

  • Strong experience with financial modeling

  • Integrated financial models

  • Familiar with 13-week cash flow models

  • Budgeting and forecasting experience

  • High level Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong experience in cost accounting

  • Has worked with establishing work center and machine rates through overhead allocation studies

  • Good knowledge of ERP system setup and maintenance for costing

  • Good understanding of costed BOM's and routers

  • Strong technical accounting skills

  • Experience managing the month-end closing process

  • Experience preparing monthly financial statements and reports

  • Experience developing and monitoring key metrics

  • Strong understanding of department management across A/P, A/R, cost accounting, general ledger & payroll

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects at once

  • Strong communication skills with presentations, small and large group meetings as well as good written communication skills

  • Comfortable interfacing with various levels of management

  • Strong computer skills with experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team
