$350 Million GROWING Community Bank with two branches in Fairfield County is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with a vision/mind on growing! Our client is building out a new office for the Finance department in a beautiful state of the art office park. Amazing opportunity to step into the seat and really make an impact in regards to the future vision of the bank and it strategic plan. CFO will perform direct supervisory duties of the Finance Department staff. Keys:

  • Participates and assists in formulating and meeting overall strategic business plans and goals.

  • Monitors Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk through analysis and testing scenarios and prepares appropriate reporting to Management and Board.

  • Manages Investment Portfolio to meet Liquidity and Income objectives. Establishes and maintains contacts with stockholders, financial institutions, and the investment community.

  • Prepares Budget and Capital Plans and coordinates the Strategic Plan.

  • Develops, implements and monitors accounting Policies, Procedures and Practices through effective internal controls.

  • Appraises the financial position and reports to the Board of Directors on financial stability and growth (actual and potential).

  • Directs and coordinates the establishment of budget programs and analyzes, consolidates, and directs all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports.

  • Responsible for applicable Regulatory Compliance, Monitoring and Reporting; including Regulation W.

  • Oversees and directs the preparation and issuance of the Consolidated Annual Report and coordinates consolidated Tax Return preparation.

  • Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the Bank?s policies and operations.
