Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) techs are required to facilitate classified information management within the supported command. We have immediate openings at Ft Meade, MD on a large Army Counterintelligence contract focused on protecting our nation's personnel, operations and facilities. Make a difference; join our team.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Perform up to SECRET desktop or on-site TEMPEST evaluations to determine compliance with applicable Army and DOD policies.

  • Conduct Tech outreach and analysis.

  • Provide CTTA's with recommendations for countermeasure requirements.

  • Complete classified facility TEMPEST notification memorandums.

  • Complete facility or system TEMPEST countermeasure reviews (TCR).

  • Complete protective distribution system (PDS) technical reviews.

  • Advise the Government CTTAs on applicable threat levels.

  • Develop proposed Inspectable Space determination.

  • Develop proposed countermeasures.

  • Complete TEMPEST or PDS site-specific risk assessments.

  • Draft formal TCR or PDS technical review memorandums or threat assessment documents.

  • Draft, review, and edit TEMPEST standing operating procedures (SOP).

  • Review TEMPEST control plans, test plans and test reports.

  • Update the TEMPEST database.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experienced Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) or equivalent.

  • Completed the National TEMPEST School TEMPEST Fundamentals Course.

  • Completed the TEMPEST Facility Installation and System Design Course.

  • Conducted TEMPEST facility or system reviews.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Active TS/SCI with CI-scope polygraph security clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Advanced degree (preferred to be in area of expertise)
  • Knowledge of analytical tools and methodologies used in the IC
  • Some experience within DoD. Army specific experience ideal.
