You will be joining a team of nurses, physicians, surgical techs, lactation consultants, neonatal nurse practitioners, neonatologists, and many other specialists that are among the very best providers in the area!
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Prepare and maintain medical equipment for OB deliveries and C-Sections
Follows hospital regulations and industry procedures to care for patients during pre-operation procedures
Perform pre-operation preparations to the patient's skin, body and medical equipment.
You may be required to transport patient to and from the operating room
Assist nursing staff with patient care in L&D and Couplet Care; obtaining vital signs and addressing basic care needs for mother and baby
Requirements for position:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech Program
Current National Certified Surgical Tech Certification
American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
