Certified Surgical Tech

PRN (Varied)

$10,000 FOR STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENTS

As a CST at Tennova Healthcare-Cleveland you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

• Current BLS from AHA or ARC

• Graduate of a surgical technology program accredited by the Commission for the Surgical Technologist (LCC-ST) as evidenced by verification of certification.

• Active Surgical Technician Certification (CST) established by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

• One year experience as a CST preferred

About the Job:

Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures. Follows hospital regulations and industry procedures to tend to patient during procedures.

Performs the setting up of the sterile field, prepares instruments and supplies that will be needed during the procedure. Helps on passing the instruments to the Surgeon . May be required to transport patient to and from the operating room. Performs a variety of tasks
