SUMMARY OF JOB:

Responsible for:

1.Performing all Respiratory Care procedures related to the department's Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program.

2.Providing routine and emergency Respiratory Therapy and Pulmonary Diagnostic procedures for Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal patients.

3.Assembling, operating, and monitoring all types of Respiratory Therapy equipment.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Current PA State Respiratory Care Practitioner License.

• N.B.R.C. Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

• Graduate of a one, two or four year AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program.

• Minimum of three years experience in all types of adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures.

• Minimum of one year experience in Adult Pulmonary Rehabilitation procedures.

• Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Current CPR certification.

• Ability to work various shifts and/or on-call hours when required.

LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of a one, two or four year AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program.

• Minimum of one year experience in Adult Pulmonary Rehabilitation procedures.

• Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Current CPR or ACLS certification.

• Ability to work various shifts and/or on-call hours when required.

• Obtain 30 CEU's within a 2 year period.
