Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Crna)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The CRNA will play a critical role in providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures in a Level II Trauma Center. This position requires a strong commitment to patient safety, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties

• Administer anesthesia for various surgical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

• Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures, making necessary adjustments as required.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia care plans.

• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration and patient responses in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.

• Provide post-anesthesia care, including monitoring recovery from anesthesia and managing any complications that may arise.

• Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology practices and participate in ongoing professional development. Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

• Strong knowledge of anesthesiology principles and practices.

• Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology related to anesthesia.

• Experience in a medical office setting or Level II Trauma Center is preferred.

• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of patient care.

• Ability to provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments, including PICU settings.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
