Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist-Crna

Job Summary Directly responsible for the administration of anesthesia to surgical patients while doing pre-operative evaluations and selecting appropriate anesthetics. Assures proper administration of anesthetic while monitoring patient during the intraoperative period of surgery and follows the patient postoperatively.

Position: 1.0 FTE 8 hr Day shifts Mon-Fri (7a-3p, primarily) No call required Qualifications: Current RN licensure in the State of Iowa Current CRNA licensure in State of Iowa Minimum five (5) years of CRNA experience required Must have DEA and CSA certification of registration (Iowa controlled substances act) BLS, ACLS, PALS required Demonstrates excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Demonstrates strong leadership qualities Benefits: PTO, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Flex Spending, IPERS Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people.

MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.
