Certified Pharmacy Technician

• Assist pharmacists in preparing medications, including filling prescriptions, counting and measuring medication, and labeling and packaging orders.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication and treatment plans.

• Provide patient education on medication use, side effects, and potential interactions.

• Conduct routine inventory checks and restock shelves as needed.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to the pharmacy standards.

• Support patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Skills:

• Proficiency in medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures and practices.

• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to provide patient service and maintain a positive attitude in a high-stress situation.

• Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and commitment to ongoing professional development.
