Valley Health Surgery and Rehab Hospital
The Valley Health System (VHS) is pleased to announce that we are currently conducting due diligence in anticipation of acquiring the Orthopedic Specialty Hospital of Nevada (formerly Mountains Edge Hospital) in Las Vegas. Upon successful completion of the transaction, which is projected to close in early August, VHS will assume operational responsibility of the hospital.
VHS plans to expand service lines including the addition of inpatient rehabilitation to its surgical services. Adding this location in to the Valley Health System network of hospitals and healthcare services further bolsters our ability to meet the growing demands of the residents and visitors we are privileged to serve in the greater Las Vegas region.
This position is responsible for performing technical responsibilities relative to assisting operating surgeons with the instrumentation of surgical intervention.
High School Graduate or equivalent and a graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School.
None required, but preferred
ORT certification is required. Participation in AORT is encouraged. Current BCLS Certification is required.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
