Description:
This position requires an active certified occupational therapy assistant license in the state of Oregon, certification by NBCOT, along with an associates degree or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
General Expectations:
The ideal applicant will have demonstrated skills in occupational therapy including, but not limited to: providing educationally related occupational therapy services to students with a variety of cognitive, emotional and/or physical illnesses or disabilities according to the student's Individualized Education Plan and under the direction of the certified occupational therapist
A desire to collaborate with other educators and agencies, as well as the ability to adapt to meet the ever changing needs of our students is required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating ALL STUDENTS, and a willingness to be involved in the school community beyond the classroom setting.
