Job Summary
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to work with us during the 2024/2025 school year. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will provide educationally-related occupational therapy services to students with a variety of cognitive, emotional, and/or physical disabilities according to the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This position is open to candidates who have graduated from an accredited school in a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) program.
Two years of experience working in a school setting is preferred. The schedule for this position will work 2.5 days/ week 9 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute break, for a total of 193 days per year. This position offers holiday pay, vacation time, and sick leave benefits.
All school holidays and breaks are observed. Additionally, we are offering an opportunity to start this position during the summer school session. This will provide our new Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant with an opportunity to become familiar with our school environment and meet some of our students before the start of the regular school year.
