As a Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA you will:

  • Assist nursing staff with patients' personal care, emotional support, and activities of daily living.

  • More complex duties performed under supervision of professional nursing personnel.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA you will have:

  • Completion of course for nursing assistants.

  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification.

  • BCLS Certification.

  • Minimum six months experience in acute or long term care facility.

In a "sitter" capacity provides constant observation and documentation of activity of assigned patient(s). Works under the direction of the Registered Nurse in the assigned area. Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Current Experience as nursing assistant in a hospital required * Ability to read and write, perform simple mathematical calculations, follow oral and written instructions, perform variety of tasks without direct supervision and perform duties requiring continuous physical effort * Ability to effectively communicate verbally and/or in written form * Customer service orientation and values * Ability to work in partnership with management and staff * Moderate to extreme physical effort such as walking, standing, performing CPR, and lifting materials, equipment, objects and/or patients may be required * Occasional lifting may be heavy and awkward, over 50 lbs. * Vision, hearing, and sense of touch must be adequate to enable one to quickly and accurately perform tasks such as reading small print, defining details, sending and receiving clear and accurate oral communication * Frequent periods of concentrated or focused attention will be needed to interpret visual, auditory, and sensory inputs * Alertness and careful attention to detail is required to avoid injury Licensure/Certification Certified Nursing Assistant REQUIRED High School Dimploma or Equivalent REQUIRED CPR or BLS REQUIRED Why Join Us We've been at the forefront of medicine since 1899.
