For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants:

• 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)

• 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

• Position Summary

• The Certified Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to ill patients and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment as delegated under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: N/A

• License/Certifications: Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (State of Maine). RQI BLS Certification within first 30 days of employment

• Experience: N/A

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff

• Skill in time management, problem solving, multitasking, prioritizing

• Ability to respond to the changing workload based on patient census

• Ability to maintain professional manner even under stressful situations

• Proficient computer skills
