Pediatria, an Epic Health Services Company, is currently seeking Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants. An ideal candidate will share our passion for providing the highest quality homecare to clients.
This position works with our nursing staff in providing hands-on care to the pediatric patient's enrolled in our program.
Candidates must have prior nursing assistant experience, a favorable criminal report as mandated by state requirements. CPR and 1st Aid training are conditions of employment and all applicants must submit to pre-employment and random drug screening.
Provides personal care, rehabilitative, and supportive services.
Follows verbal and written directions provided by the Registered Nurse or registered therapist, dependent upon the type of assignment.
Assists in the implementation of a realistic, goal-oriented Plan of Care.
Provides hands-on personal care services to client.
Assists clients in activities of daily living.
Plans and prepares meals.
Maintains a clean and safe environment.
Performs assigned housekeeping tasks.
Assists the client with medications which are ordinarily self-administered, as required by the assigned case and allowed by state regulations.
May perform additional tasks/procedures only if specific and adequate training has been given and documented by the supervisory Registered Nurse or Therapist and allowed by state regulations.
Provides observations and follow-up.
Observes, records, and reports significant changes in the status of the client and/or the family supervisor.
Participates in case conferences and inservice programs as required.
Maintains and submits documentation as required by the company. Accurately records his/her observations and completed tasks.
Maintains confidentiality regarding clients, health care staff, and documentation.
Performs additional duties assigned on response to client/office/facility needs
