Certification:
Current CNA certification from any state in the U.S., and a current CPR/BLS certificate accredited by the American Heart Association. Experience: Minimum of two years working in your skill set (must have worked within the last six months). Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Intermediate Care Technician (ICT) certification/license is acceptable in lieu of a CNA certification. Your Key Responsibilities Personal Care:
Provide a range of personal nursing care, including feeding, walking, lifting, turning patients, and related hygiene care. Diagnostic Support: Take, record, and report deviations in vital signs; assist doctors in various diagnostic exams.
Equipment Handling: Assemble necessary equipment, collect and transport specimens, and clean and care for medical equipment. Treatment Procedures:
Change simple dressings, care for patients with infections, and administer basic life support measures. Documentation: Document vital signs, enter patient condition information in charts, and assist with patient admission history. Patient Support:
Promote physical independence, instruct patients on pre- and post-operative care, and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs). Special Duties: Conduct inventories and contraband searches and accompany mental health patients to appointments outside the mental health unit. Why Join Us?
