  • Observing Residents

  • Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse

  • Taking care of a Resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.

  • Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake

  • Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements

  • Making beds & keeping the Residents' space clean and tidy

  • Transporting Residents within the Facility

  • Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores

  • Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data


  • Must be able to work as a team member

VIEW JOBS 8/18/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-11-16T00:00 <p>JOB TITLE: CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINER</p><p>MAIN FUNCTION:</p><p>The certified athletic trainer is charged with managing the health care of participating athletes, including, but not limited to, first aid/emergency care, on-site injury evaluation, appropriate modalities, prevention, rehabilitation programs and medical referrals. Athletic training services for all sport-related events will be provided in accordance with current contracts. This position is accountable to the Orthopedic Service Line Director.</p><p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>Certified Athletic Trainer</p><ul><li><p>Performs the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, recognition, assessment, treatment (including first aid) and reconditioning of athletic injuries as set forth by the NATA Board of Certification.</p></li><li><p>Covers assigned practices, sports games or matches and related events under the supervision of the team physician and/or program manager. Depending on the institution, this may include weekend and/or evening contests.</p></li><li><p>Depending on the institution, travels with the team to away games, including overnight stays as required.</p></li><li><p>Develops treatment programs, including indicated modalities, therapeutic exercises and strength and conditioning programs, in accordance with findings of evaluations and goals established by the injury assessment or by the treating physician.</p></li><li><p>Prepares athletes for treatment and ensures comfort and safety of athletes. Carries out all prescribed treatments and recommendations by the team/program/event physician.</p></li><li><p>Applies treatment procedures and modalities in accordance with established indications and contraindications.</p></li><li><p>Assesses athletes' status in response to treatment and modifies programs as appropriate. Refers athletes for appropriate diagnostic and follow-up procedures and subsequent injury tracking.</p></li><li><p>Coordinates follow-up treatment/appointments with physician office manager and/or Rehab scheduling team and ensures immediate access to services.</p></li><li><p>Informs athlete and families of important aspects of athletes' present condition, including concussion, wound care, first aid and follow-up care. Informs physician and program manager of any necessary documentation or observable signs that need investigation.</p></li><li><p>Communicates with athletes, parents, athletic director(s), coaches and physicians regarding athletes' playing status and ability to return to competition. All communication must be conducted within the bounds of confidentiality.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates proper taping, strapping, bracing, and fitting of athletic equipment.</p></li><li><p>Uses assigned athletic training equipment safely and efficiently.</p></li><li><p>Maintains athletes' medical records and relevant paperwork, including statistics and injury logs as established.</p></li><li><p>Works confidently in crisis or emergency situation, demonstrating knowledge of safety practices.</p></li><li><p>Organizes pre- and post-participation physicals.</p></li><li><p>Participates in select community service/educational programs related to sports medicine.</p></li><li><p>Assists is program development related to sports medicine. Assists with on-boarding process for all new contracts. Must be able to assist with or transfer patients of various weights/heights. Must be able to lift at least 30# independently and at least 150# with the assistance of another person. Must be able to push carts containing medical and athletic equipment. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, have good mobility skills and be able to walk long distances. Must be able to carry medical, first aid and athletic training kit and coolers for long distances.</p><p>EXPOSURE CATEGORY:</p><p>Category I.
