Certified Nurse Practitioner

This is a full-time position working days and rotating weekends/holidays. This individual will be required to work on-call hours divided between 3 individuals. This person needs to be familiar with addiction medicine. They need to be familiar with detoxing or patients under the influence. The individual may experience such issues as Substance Induced Psychosis or medical issues such as withdrawal seizures necessitating the administration of detox or other treatment medications.

Duties:

• Complete histories ad physicals as needed

• Care for general medical problems.

• See patients in need of treatment of mental health problems that develop during treatment.

• Diagnose and prescribe for patients un the supervision of the Keystone Psychiatrist.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.

• Work closely with the Medical Director and DON to develop appropriate medical care for patients.

• Document visits in the patient's progress notes as indicated according to Keystone policies.

• Other duties as assigned by the Medical Director.
