Advanced Practitioner Role Scope Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective care for women, and participates in the medical management of patients, to achieve or maintain optimal health status, manage disease and reduce risk of illness.

Engages in independent decision-making regarding the health care of women across the lifespan and across the health care continuum. Practices within a health care system that allows medical consultation, collaborative management and referral health care of women, i.e. well woman, gynecology, obstetrics (antepartum, labor, delivery and postpartum), and family planning. Reports to Medical Director or Nurse Manager, or a matrix which may include Nurse Manager, Nursing Director, Medical Director, or some combination of those.

Will also provide coverage on Labor and Delivery Triage 1 day per week.
