Practice Description

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join the multi-specialty practice at M Health Fairview Clinic

• Riverside.

Practice Details:

• Join a team of 6 Certified Nurse Midwives, 1 WHNP and 8 Physicians

• Deliveries performed at: University of Minnesota Medical Center- Fairview, adjacent to the clinic.

• Admitting Hospital: University of Minnesota Medical Center

• Fairview.

• CNM group averages 20-30 deliveries per month

• Average of 16-22 patients per day in clinic

• FTE:.8

• Schedule details: 3 day clinical work week - includes clinic and on-call time

• Call Frequency: 1:7, with 24/7 in-house OB emergency support

• Established referral base of Fairview employed primary care and sub specialty physicians

• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Midwife training program.

• Be certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).

• Have a current, or be eligible for a MN APRN license and be approved or eligible by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges.

• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.

• Experience is preferred but new graduates will be considered.

• Riverside is a multispecialty clinic serving a diverse patient population, adjacent to University of Minnesota Medical Center- Fairview in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis.

There is an expectation that CNM's will see clinic patients at The Riverside clinic and two additional Fairview community clinics.
