Our enthusiastic and dedicated nursing staff provides 24-hour care, seven days a week.From helping our residents prepare for their day to assisting them to participate in exciting activities, you will play a huge role in their day. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time, part-time, and temporary employment available.

  • Work hours are:

  • 1st shift (6:00 a.m.

  • 2:30 p.m.); Rotating days & weekends (Opportunities on 1st shift are limited, you are encouraged to apply for 2nd shift to increase your employment opportunities.); or
  • 2nd shift (2:00 p.m.
  • 10:30 p.m.); Rotating days & weekends; or
  • 3rd shift (10:00 p.m.
  • 6:30 a.m.); Rotating days & weekends (Opportunities on 3rd shift are limited, you are encouraged to apply for 2nd shift to increase your employment opportunities.)

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.

Legal Requirements:

  • This position comes under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Commonwealth Employment Requirement:

  • A conditional offer of employment will require the satisfactory completion of a medical examination.

Come join the DMVA team, apply today!</p><p>The Clinical Dietitian position coordinates, inspects, and evaluates the therapeutic diet program while maintaining adherence to HIPAA standards. Clinical Dietitian's are responsible for planning and organizing the nutritional care of residents and other individuals at the facility including those on prescribed diets. Work involves the preparation and modification of menu plans and nutritional care plans in accordance with physicians' orders and standards of nutrition, variety, and quality.  In addition, employees are responsible for organizing a nutritional care program which includes nutritional assessments, discharge summaries, diet counseling, and chart entries.
