Cardiac Imaging, Inc. (www.mobilecardiacpet.com) has brought together advanced nuclear medicine technology with convenient care through our turnkey mobile clinics. Our service allows physicians to treat their patients for cardiac disease with the most cutting edge tools in nuclear medicine, without leaving the comfort of their practice. We exclusively perform mobile cardiac PET imaging exams, the recognized gold standard across the United States in detecting early coronary artery disease before it is evident on other imaging tests.

We are currently seeking a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist within the Dallas / Fort Worth area, to work under the direction of a physician and perform a full range of nuclear imaging for our Mobile Cardiac Imaging Program.

Regular local travel is required, including occasional overnight stays. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist would be reimbursed for all gas mileage incurred for travel, and hotel accommodations would be paid for by Cardiac Imaging, Inc., as well as per diem to cover food expenses.

Requirements

  • Must be certified by or eligible for the nuclear medicine technology certification board (NMTCB), ARRT (N) Certification
  • Must be a graduate of an approved nuclear medicine program
  • BRACCO certification preferred
  • RSO experience preferred
  • 3-5 years work experience is preferred
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Practice Management Systems
  • Ability to work well with others in a professional manner in a team oriented environment

VIEW JOBS 8/21/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-19T00:00 The Nuclear Med Technologist performs routine and complex Nuclear Medicine Imaging procedures on ambulatory, and hospital patients in a Physician Office, Clinic, and Hospital Setting as requested by a physician or other licensed provider and under general supervision of a Radiologist, Cardiologist, or Nuclear Medicine Physician for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. The Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedure to the patient and be sure they are comfortable and at ease during the exam and provide care to the patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist, Nuclear Medicine Physician, or Cardiologist. The Nuclear Med Technologist practices accepted and proper Nuclear Medicine technology techniques, including selecting the appropriate technical factors on an individual basis and understanding human anatomy well enough to consistently obtain the correct images. The Nuclear Med Technologist protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; following drug protocols in case of reactions to drugs, such as contrast media, administering first aid, and using the emergency cart.
