Midland Care is now hiring for a part time, nights CMA for our Residential Center.
Summary:
As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for administering medications to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being in a residential care setting. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work well under pressure will be essential for success in this role.
Employment Status: Part-time | 1/12-hour shift 7pm-7am
Pay Rate is starting at $16.80/hr +5% shift differential (pay is based off qualifications and like experience)
Duties & Responsibilities
Establishes therapeutic relationships with clients and families from a variety of cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Uses effective communication skills to act as a companion and provide emotional support to clients and families.
Uses interpersonal skills that promote interdisciplinary collaboration and communication.
Provides emotional support to clients and families in a manner that fosters independence and affirms existing strengths.
Participates in the orientation of new members of the team and students.
Maintains flexibility in schedule and responds to unexpected patient care needs and changes in workload and location of work as directed.

Qualifications
Required: Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification. Must possess a valid Kansas Drivers License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organizations insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.
Preferred: One year experience as CMA preferred, demonstrable knowledge in medication administration.
