Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medications and report findings to the nursing team.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration. Report any issues or concerns related to medications promptly to the nursing supervisor. Work closely with the nursing and caregiving team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for residents.

Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members regarding medication-related matters. Provide support and reassurance to residents during the medication administration process. Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.

Qualifications of a CMA/CMT : Current certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) or Medication Technician (CMT) in the state of New Jersey. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.
