This position is responsible for assisting physician and nursing staff in evaluating and treating patients as well as performing other duties including, but not limited to clinical and clerical tasks as needed to meet the needs of the practice to which it is assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, Certification, Registration, LicenseHighschool or GEDBLS - Basic Life SupportField of Study: High school
Years of Experience: 1SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE High school graduate Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and Certified BLS Certification Knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology Anatomy and physiology Math and medication administration skills Computer skills strong communication skills, both verbal and written Greater than 1 year of documented experience as a medical assistant preferred but not required
