Shift: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, full-time

• Hours may be subject to provider schedule.

$5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus for external candidates.

Responsibilities

Our team of dedicated professionals at Waukee Med Park

• Internal Med, is committed to delivering high-quality medical services with compassion and excellence. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse (RN or LPN), or Certified Medical Assistant to join our team and help us continue to provide outstanding care to our patients.

In our internal medicine clinic, you will be an integral part of our patient care team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and preparing patients for their appointments

• Recording patient medical histories and vital signs

• Assisting physicians with examinations and procedures

• Administering injections, medications, and immunizations as directed

• Performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic tests

• Managing patient records and ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) system

• Scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals

• Educating patients on managing chronic illnesses and following treatment plans

Qualifications

• Current License to Practice, if LPN or RN (State of Iowa).

• If Certified Medical Assistant, current certification.

• Prior ambulatory clinical work experience required, Family Med or Internal Med preferred.

• BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
