Responsibilities

At Sunnybrook Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting.

• Perform comprehensive cardiac assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and response to treatment.

• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and interventions.

• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN/LPN License or Current RN/LPN license in Compact State of Residence.

• If Medical Assistant, current certification is required.

• ACLS or BLS and Mandatory Reporter.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
