Certified Medical Assistant

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have: - Active certification as a Medical Assistant- Minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in medical assistance- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures- License or certification from an accredited Medical Assistant Program- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other standard clinical tools and supplies- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment- Proficiency in basic computer skills Preferred qualifications: - Experience in a primary care or specialty care setting- Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes- Familiarity with laboratory and diagnostic testing procedures
