NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at the Henderson Detention Center located in Henderson, NV. Pay rates range per hour based on type of license, certification, Shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, licensure, and experience.

Office Lab Assistant License required (applicable for the state of NV only)
Nevada or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants.

Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED certificate
Current, unrestricted certification as a Medical Assistant in Nevada
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
Valid CPR card
Position Description:
Perform routine blood drawing procedures as applicable by licensure
Take and document vital signs, height and weight and assist with PPDs and EKGs as required
Assist with examinations and/or treatments as needed and report all changes in patients' conditions
Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation, and dressing changes
