Responsibilities

• The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will report to the Certified Medical Assistant Supervisor (CMAS), the Practice Physician and/or the Practice Administrator.

• Under the direction of the Practice Physician and Certified Medical Assistant Supervisor (CMAS), the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will provide superior patient care and perform both clinical and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associates, High School Diploma, or GED equivalent preferred

• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.

• Higher education may be substituted for experience

• 1-3 years experience in a hospital or physician practice setting.

• Maintain current National Certification as Certified Medical Assistant.
