The selected candidate will provide social work duties to include individual mental health therapy, crisis interventions, referral and case management assistance.
This position will involve weekly travel to Lincoln (approximately 2 times per week) to assist officers and clients in the Lincoln office. Monday
Friday 8:00 a.m.
4:30 p.m. with one night per week until 7:00 p.m.
Examples of Work
Individual therapy, group counseling, staffing cases, crisis intervention, case management and referral services. Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in social work and two years of Master Social Worker experience.
Licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. 38-2122 and certification as a Master Social Worker in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. 38-2128.
PREFERRED: Experience working with the criminal justice population.
OTHER: Must possess a valid driver's license. Regular and reliable attendance.
