The Central Processing Tech is responsible for receiving and processing incoming supplies and equipment. Performs cleaning and sterilizing duties, prepares packs of supplies, linen and instruments in Central Processing.
Two (2) years' of central processing experience or recent completion of central sterile processing externship.
Working knowledge of sterilization techniques and Infection Control procedures.
Familiar with medical instruments/equipment care and assemble.
Knowledge of basic math, oral and written communication skills.
Excellent telephone manners and hand/eye coordination.
CST Certification required
