Job Summary: Athletic Trainer Clinic is responsible for assisting the provider by accurately determining and communicating the patient#s current and previous medical condition to the provider while helping maintain the flow of patients through services received. Supports the Orthopedic Sports Medicine department by working under direct supervision of the physician in the areas of clinic operation, patient care, education, safety and scribing. Education

  • Required: Bachelor#s Degree in Athletic Training or Exercise Physiology from a CAATE accredited program. Education

  • Preferred: Master#s Degree in Athletic training or Exercise Physiology from a CAATE accredited program. Experience

  • Required: less than 1 year Experience

  • Preferred: 2 years Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Required: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, organize workloads, and manage time. Ability to educate patients on exercise instruction. Ability to coordinate care services with other health care providers. Must be able to travel within 50 miles of home cost center. Licensure

  • Required: PA State Athletic Trainer License within 1 Year Certifications

  • Required: AT - Certified Athletic Trainer BOC certification within 1 Year and Health Services\BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
