Join our Livonia team as a High School Athletic Trainer and play a vital role in fostering a safe and supportive environment for young athletes to thrive. As an Athletic Trainer, you will work closely with coaches, parents, and school staff to ensure the health and safety of student-athletes. You will provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services, empowering athletes to perform at their best while prioritizing their well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site athletic training coverage for practices, games, and events.
• Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to individual athletes and teams.
• Assess, treat, and rehabilitate sports-related injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians, coaches, and parents to create individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of injuries, treatments, and progress.
• Educate student-athletes on proper training techniques, nutrition, and overall health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
• Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
• Current Michigan state licensure or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Passion for working with young athletes in an educational setting.
