The Cerner Application Analyst is responsible for maintaining an in-depth knowledge of supported applications and serves as a first line resource for customer support issues related to these applications. Responsibilities also include application implementation and configuration duties, as well as documentation and training. The scope of this role includes support for all providers, clinicians and staff within the clinical areas assigned.

Experience

Minimum two years supporting Cerner ambulatory related applications required.

Experience in project management techniques and strong customer service skills required.

Solid planning, time management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and work well with others Positive attitude, results driven, and detail oriented

Working Conditions

Employee is required to sit continuously and walk occasionally.

Employee must lift/carry a light (1-20 lbs.) load occasionally.

Employee may be required to lift over 100 lbs. with assistance. Employee is occasionally required to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, climb, lift waist to overhead. Employee is occasionally required to reach forward and reach overhead.

For repetitive action, employee is required to use both hands for simple grasping and pushing/pulling. Employee is continuously exposed to electrical hazards and CRT terminal work.

(Occasionally: 1-33%, Frequently: 34-66%, Continuously: 67-100%)

The most significant of duties are included but this does not exclude occasional work assignments not mentioned or developmental duties.

VIEW JOBS 11/2/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-31T00:00 Description This position is responsible for collaborating with providers to facilitate adoption and use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems by physicians and their associated staff. This collaboration includes assessing, planning, evaluating and marketing informational systems for use in enhancing providers provision of patient care. This position will also assist in providing overall support and communication between the medical staff and Information Technology. Works with physician EMR team to implement and support ambulatory physician electronic medical record applications.Assists in development of reports.Assists in the instruction and development of EMR workflows.Documents, resolves and escalates technical and application issues.Tests new software modules and upgrades documenting any issues.Performs other work duties as assigned. Education * High School Diploma required * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Experience * 2 years of experience performing clinical data analytics/reporting * Experience working with complex datasets * Strong organizational and time management skills * Strong communication skills, written and verbal * Excellent PC skills (including MS Word, and Excel) * Experience with using data analysis tools such as SAS, SQL,Cognos Microsoft Access, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or other similar applications. * Familiarity with Quality Improvement Initiatives such as HEDIS, PQRS, Meaningful Use * Experience with Spotfire or Tableau or other analytics tool is a plus.
