Facility Description:

SCA owns and/or provides management services to more than 200 ambulatory surgery centers, surgical hospitals, and hospital surgery departments in partnership with approximately 2,800 physicians and in affiliation with more than 100 health systems. SCA's clinical systems, service line growth strategies, benchmarking processes, and efficiency programs create measurable advantage for surgical facilities clinically, operationally, and financially.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

SCA is seeking a CEO/Administrator to lead the team at Premier Surgery Center in Louisville, Kentucky

Premier Surgery Center is a multi-specialty surgery center with 4 operating rooms and 4 procedure rooms. The center performs approximately 6,500 cases annually for adult and pediatric patients. Specialties include GI, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, podiatry, pain management, plastic surgery, & ophthalmology.

Key Responsibilities:

The Administrator serves as the CEO of the center. As such, he or she will have full accountability for clinical quality, business and strategic planning, financial results, personnel recruitment, development and oversight, operational effectiveness, facility management and regulatory compliance.

  • Leading a team of clinical and business professionals to achieve outstanding clinical results, physician, patient and teammate satisfaction with the center's services and financial performance.

  • Working in collaboration with the Medical Director and surgeon partners to develop and maintain effective strategic, programmatic, and marketing plans to grow and maximize center outcomes.

  • Managing the center's financial results, including a multi-million-dollar P&L, financial controls, reporting and analysis;

  • Ensuring quality outcomes, labor efficiencies, supply chain management, volume growth, revenue cycle optimization and regulatory accreditation/compliance;

  • Overseeing the center's physical assets, including the building and equipment, in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.


  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare leadership, preferably in outpatient surgery setting OR Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or Management with progressively responsible financial, personnel, operations management experience in a healthcare setting

  • Prior experience demonstrating high-level ability to effectively manage and allocate organizational resources is required.

  • Operational management experience such as budgeting, financial management, clinical services management, credentialing, accreditation, or similar required communication skills, both written and verbal, and proven ability to interact well with physicians, surgeons and teammates is required.

  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, function efficiently and responsibly in emergency situations is required.

Responsibilities The IT Infrastructure Administrator works closely with the Director of Technology and Support Services, as well as the network and systems teams to complete maintenance, troubleshooting, and projects. Additionally, this individual is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of IT applications, as well as systems and network monitoring. He/she works with the infrastructure team in supporting the IT environments, as well as the needs of the end users. * Configure and maintain application, server and network performance monitoring tools. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner by applying best practices in problem resolution. * Utilize continuous improvement techniques to analyze and improve performance and processes. * Complete projects involving installations, upgrades and modernization of servers and network systems. * Audit servers and network equipment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines. * Provide support for Infrastructure systems such as server maintenance, storage, networking, network security, messaging, directory services, server virtualization, monitoring, and more. * Participate in the maintenance, testing, and execution of the Disaster Recovery plan. * Provide backup assistance to Network and Systems Administrator. * Periodically perform recurring on-call responsibilities to help assist in Atria's support environment that provides assistance to communities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. * May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in computer discipline, technology or engineering highly preferred. * Five (5) or more years of experience in an IT environment, with significant server and network experience. * Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, Cisco Nexus, ASA firewalls, DMVPN, ISE, MPLS, TCP/IP, subneting, VLAN(s), RADIUS, EIGRP, VOIP, QOS, and Cisco AnyConnect. * Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012, SQL Server 2012, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2010 and newer, WSUS, Symantec Endpoint Protection, and Office 2010 and newer. * Experience with enterprise level administration tools to manage and monitor application, system and network performance. * Experience creating and maintaining server scripts (PowerShell, Perl, VB) to perform routine maintenance tasks. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Must be willing to work extended hours, nights or weekends, when necessary.
