Reporting to the Director of Regulatory Compliance, this individual will be responsible for the oversight and management of individual and business entity licenses for Amwins' Group Benefits division. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented business professional capable of ensuring regulatory compliance with applicable Department of Insurance licensing regulations.
The qualified individual should have experience with managing licensing for Life & Health (L&H), Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), Third Party Administrator (TPA), and other licenses as applicable. They should also be a skilled communicator (both written and verbal) with an ability to explain licensing requirements in an easy-to-understand manner for licensees requesting assistance. Time management skills are essential to ensure success against required deliverables.
Areas of responsibility:
New, renewal, and surrender of licenses management
Manage insurer appointments upon request
Manage affiliations per state requirements
Provide assistance to licensees regarding the maintenance of their licenses
Procurement and renewal of required bonds
TPA reporting requirements

Desired Qualifications:
Three years of insurance licensing management experience, specifically with L&H, TPA, and PBM as well as P&C and Surplus Lines
Ability to multi-task and take initiative
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service and problem resolution skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with MS Excel
