Under the general supervision of the Director of Perioperative Services and the direct supervision of the Certified Sterile Processing Area Supervisor, the sterilization technician/instrument technician is responsible for processing instrument trays and other supplies necessary for surgical and non-surgical procedures.

Current certification in sterile processing is preferred, not required.
B. Experience: At least two years of sterile processing experience
C. Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications: BLS; current certification as a sterile processing technician is preferred.
