We are seeking a Central Sterile Technician for our center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Roles & Responsibilities:

The Central Sterile Tech manages the provision of sterile supplies and equipment required by the Operating Room, Recovery Room, Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery and patient care departments by cleaning, packaging, sterilizing, and storing. Draws knowledge from all personnel involved and monitors correct procedures as situations occur.

Learn more about working at Lakeview Regional Medical Center where above all else we are committed to the care and improvement of human life: Click here to learn more about working at Lakeview Regional Medical Center Roles & Responsibilities: The Pharmacy Technician lends support and assistance to the pharmacist staff in the following areas: Delivering new medication orders (every 30 minutes); performing cart exchanges (daily); receiving and stocking merchandise; IV preparation (per competency training parameters) and delivery; automated dispensing machines (Pyxis) restocking; patient billing; discharge medication processing (retrieval from nursing units); medication cart fill; report printing; inventory control repackaging (bar-coding); nursing unit inspections (monthly); crash cart inspections (monthly); refrigerator temperature log (daily); IV hood cleaning logs (daily). All other pharmacy operational duties as deemed necessary by the director or staff pharmacist. Works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
