Position Summary
The Central Scheduling Representative schedules and pre-registers patients for services as requested. Responsibilities include obtaining current demographic, insurance and other information required by third-party payers and working collaboratively with referrals, authorizations, and financial screening teams to ensure all necessary pre-authorizations have been secured, nonemergent procedures have been financially cleared, and patients are apprised of their financial obligations before the date of service.
Qualifications
Healthcare related insurance, scheduling, front desk, or comparable experience is required
Associate Degree in business or healthcare related field, preferred
CHAA: Certified Healthcare Access Associate, preferred
