Job Description Summary
The Central Scheduler is responsible for meeting and /or exceeding customer service expectations related to the Scheduling process. The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling diagnostic procedures via a collaborative process with physicians, physician's office, and nursing staff.
He/she is fully trained and understanding of MUSC Health Patient Financial Services policies and procedures and the adminstration of those according to established guidelines. Routine evaluation of performance results in a 95% to 100% success rate to meet expectations and 95% or greater to exceed.

Additional Job Description
Education: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience: At least 2 years or experience in a hospital or medically related environment. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards.
