Central Investment Advisors provides brokerage and advisory services to 18,000+ clients with Assets under Management totaling $2.5+ billion and producing $12 million

  • in gross revenue annually. The Central Investment Advisors Analyst is responsible for overseeing and reporting all financial aspects. The Analyst tracks and reports revenue production as well as expenses on an advisor, bank and program level to ensure that Central Investment Advisor Management can make sound decisions based on pertinent and accurate financial data about the program.

The Analyst is responsible for retrieving commission, fee and expense files from the broker dealer system. Each banks' general ledger entries are created by the Analyst through the monthly revenue process and loaded to the general ledger system through a file upload process.

Balance the revenue files received and the monies received and distributed to ensure that no over or under payments have occurred.

The Analyst is responsible for reviewing 30+ cost centers throughout the affiliate bank network to monitor profitability at the advisor and program level.

The Analyst will meet with Central Investment Management (Executive Vice President of Investments, Central Investment Advisor Managing Director and Central Investment Advisor Program Manager) to review the prior month's revenue reports/production, general ledger reports and discuss any areas of concern.

In instances of additional staffing decisions the Analyst is responsible for developing pro-formas for Central Investment Advisors management to review to determine if additional expenses incurred due to additional staffing will be sufficiently offset by the additional revenue or efficiencies gained from adding to staff.

The Analyst works with the Central Investment Advisors Managing Director in the development of each of the advisors individual annual budgets. From the individual advisor budgets, the Analyst will create the annual budget for the Central Investment Advisors program.

The Analyst will also be responsible for providing periodic and year-end program level reporting for the Central Bancompany CEO Meeting, Central Investment Advisor Meetings and other Bancompany Executive Level Meetings.

Reviewing & approving Central Investment Advisor employee expense reimbursements and Central Investment Advisor vendor and subscription invoice payments using Cor360.

Providing approval to advisors for additional state licenses for securities & advisory (outside of home state) based on expected production from accounts requiring the licensing.

The Analyst will assist in extracting information from existing databases to furnish call lists to Central Investment Advisor offices throughout the program.

The Analyst will be responsible for daily, weekly and monthly operational functions as assigned by the Central Investment Advisor Program Manager.

The Analyst will be responsible for assisting in organizing and planning period advisor meetings for Central Investment Advisors.

Perform telephone, walk-in and mail customer service as needed. This may include analyzing customer needs, account inquiry, adjustments, and maintenance. Process and perform adjustments for customer disputes using internal BankCard systems. The process requires ongoing analysis, review and understanding of rules as set forth by the card associations and bank regulators. Review security exception system and reports for possible fraudulent activity and proactively contact customers and management regarding suspicious activity to minimize bank losses and customer impact. Complete incident reports in accordance with internal bank procedures and current Bank regulations. Perform security-related functions including: restricting accounts, retrieving support documentation, replacing accounts, monitoring/transferring account activity, reviewing customer correspondence and reporting activity to card associations. Input fraud information into the Holding Company fraud and dispute database. Keep current on local and bankcard industry fraud trends and notify management and bank personnel as deemed necessary. Keep current on BankCard, MasterCard/VISA, and Processor rules and procedures. Perform back up, assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.
