Summary of Position:

Responsible for assisting and providing support to the Central Events Team, this multitasking, fast-paced position demands full knowledge of administrative processes, customer service, excellent computer skills, and an understanding of event management. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Knowledge of sponsorships and Monday.com is desired but not required.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

Gateway Conference Support

  • Complete ownership of Gateway Conference Sponsorship management, including but not limited to tracking deliverables, payments, booth needs, and all other sponsor requests.

  • Manage email and phone customer service for the Gateway Conference.

  • Collaborate with the Events Team before, during, and after the conference to oversee sponsorship logistics.

  • Attend all required meetings with ministries and support departments.

  • Assist with Gateway Experiences booth management at the Gateway Conference.

  • Work closely with the Associate Director of Event Operations for any other conference needs.

Conference Strategy Support

  • Aid in the creation and organization of assets for conference strategy projects (i.e., Analytic Presentation, Conference Learning Reports, various PowerPoint presentations, one-sheet documentation, etc.).

  • Demonstrate proficiency in research, brainstorming, and problem-solving skills.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage expense reports for Central Events.

  • Assist in maintaining office inventory and placing supply orders as needed.

  • Contribute to overall office cleanliness along with other Central Event team members.

  • Perform other tasks as needed.

General Requirements:

  • Must be available to work in office a minimum of two days a week.

  • Must be available to work flexible and longer hours during conferences weeks.

General Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability.

  • Proficient in Monday.com, Canva, Slack, Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.

General Physical Requirements:

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Sit/stand for long periods of time.

  • Occasionally kneel, or crouch.

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
