We are an outpatient, multi-specialty facility specializing in Orthopedic, Back, Eye, ENT & Sinus, General Surgery, Gall Bladder Health, Joint Replacement, Plastic Surgery, Pain Management, and Podiatry. Summary

We are currently searching for a full-time Center Director to work a Monday - Friday schedule with a closely knit team of staff and physicians performing a variety of tasks. The Center Director coordinates and directs activities of the Center according to accepted standards and oversees the fiscal activities of the center. This role works collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Clinical Director, or Charge Nurse (as required) to oversee the supervision and direction of nursing care and patient scheduling according to the Center's policies, procedures, and objectives. The Center Director is responsible for management of all aspects of personnel, education of personnel, and administrative duties. This role works closely with the Governor's Board and center staff in coordinating patient and staff service functions.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring operational activities for effective and efficient management of daily operations.

  • Working collaboratively with Medical Directors, Board Members, Director of Operations, and Clinical Director.

  • Direct supervision of nursing and patient care.

  • Overseeing medical staff/allied health credentialing and human resources.

  • Directing and participating in the Center's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Committee (QAPI).

  • Managing services provided by contracted vendors.

  • Developing, interpreting, and implementing policies, procedures, regulations, programs, and recommended practices to meet requirements of regulatory and accrediting organizations including but not limited to infection control, environment of care, and emergency preparedness.

  • Monitoring and analyzing monthly operating reports to promote cost containment and efficient use of the Center's resources.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of capital and operating budgets.

  • Assisting with marketing plans in collaboration with AMSURG and the Governing Board.

  • Utilizing Materials Management principles, promote cost containment and the efficient use of Center resources, analyzing and recommending cost-effective improvements within the Center.

  • Monitoring the Center's physical environment, initiating methods for maintaining safety, comfort, cleanliness, and efficiencies.

You must possess:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/University; Master's Degree preferred.

  • At least five (5) years of healthcare-management experience.

  • At least one (1) year experience in an ASC.

  • Able to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; correcting errors in a professional, courteous manner.

  • Computer literacy.

  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently with a high level of integrity.

  • An attitude that is caring, respectful, sensitive, tactful, compassionate, empathetic, and tolerant.

  • Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact verbally and/or in writing with managers, co-workers, patients, and the general public.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in various forms while dealing with abstract and concrete variables.

  • Mental alertness for quality decision making and exercising good judgment.

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Compensation Package / Benefits:

  • Up to $120,000 (negotiable) dependent upon experience.

  • Eligible for annual bonuses of up to $10,000 based upon meeting performance metrics.
