Center Clinical Lead- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Pay: $100,000 - $115,000 per year

In This Position You Will (Position Summary):

Serve as a leader in providing state-of-the-art services to children on the Autism Spectrum, combining Skills-Based Treatment and Pivotal Response Treatment. Under the general supervision of the Regional Clinical Director, play a pivotal role in launching, overseeing, and optimizing our day-to-day clinical service in The Stepping Stones Autism Learning Center in Fremont, CA. The Senior Clinical Supervisor is responsible for clinical oversight and training of all client-facing team members including behavior technicians, ABA supervisors, and center coordinators in line with our Personalized Care Philosophy.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain strong team member engagement and culture
  • Model and oversee the delivery of excellent customer service to CAS clients
  • Work alongside a team of expert consultants in Practical Functional Assessment, Skills-Based Treatment, and Pivotal Response Treatment
  • Conduct assessments, supervise ABA programs, and provide caregiver training on personal caseload, as well as through supplemental supervision of supervisee caseloads
  • Observe, review, mentor and provide feedback regarding implementation of services that are aligned with the agency's Personalized Care Philosophy to ABA Supervisors, Behavior Technicians, and trainers
  • Meet with ABA supervisors bi-weekly to review client progress, data collection, specific curricula/goals, functional behavioral analysis, and utilization of authorized hours
  • Schedule, coordinate and/or conduct individual or group meetings with ABA supervisors, and/or BTs related to specific instructional training or agency updates
  • Schedule, coordinate and/or conduct individual or group meetings with parents related to specific topics or areas of interest
  • Ensure assessments and progress reports meet medical necessity and payer requirements and are submitted by set deadlines to facilitate clients' timely access to treatment
  • Oversee client and team member rosters to ensure center is full and has appropriate ratios to maintain consistent service hours for clients and teammates
  • Coordinate with operational departments to ensure center needs are met (i.e., Facilities, IT, HR, etc.)

Position Location:

Work location: CAS Center- Fremont, CA

Workweek Schedule: CAS center regular operating hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm for the full-day intensive program. Extended/make up sessions, assessments, social skills groups, and/or caregiver training may intermittently be required in the afternoon/evening hours or on a weekend to meet client needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience supervising and/or training Behavior technicians and ABA supervisors
  • Experience implementing Pivotal Response Treatment to fidelity and PFA/SBT, separately or together is highly preferred. An openness to learning and applying these approaches is a must!
  • Excellent leadership and people development skills; "leads by example" and can foster a positive work environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Ability to lead in a complex and sometimes stressful environment while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and communicate in a diplomatic manner
  • Demonstrated experience and ability with conflict resolution and implementation of policies

Education/Certifications Required:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing
  • Level 3 or higher credential in Skills-Based Treatment strongly preferred.

Relocation stipend will be offered, if applicable. Requires a minimum of 2-year commitment.
