As a statewide support organization, CEDAM strives to help our more than 250 member organizations do their jobs better. CEDAM's ten VISTA members serve statewide to advance anti-poverty initiatives at the local level.
Members in CEDAM's program will either create or greatly expand a program in their community. In addition to rewarding day-to-day activities, CEDAM ensures that AmeriCorps members get as much as they give. We provide a comprehensive soft skills and community development 101 training throughout the year that ensures members are ready for what's next after service. In addition, members have access to a statewide network and the opportunity to attend professional conferences during their service terms.
