As the CDL Yard Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient yard operations. This position requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) and involves a combination of administrative tasks and hands-on yard work, including operating a spotter truck.

Additional Requirements:

• Driver must hold a non-excepted interstate status on their medical card

• Valid CDL-A

• Current DOT Physical

• Satisfactory MVR

• Ability to back up trailers into service bays.

• Work in a timely & safe manner

• Communicate professionally and diplomatically

• Provide exceptional service by maintaining attention to detail and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Key Resposibilities -

• Gate Operations

• Unlock the gate at the start of each shift to facilitate yard access and operations.

• Administrative Support

• Review production-related emails and daily dock schedules to stay informed of operational needs.Maintain and update dock and yard files with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Yard Operations

• Drive a spotter truck to move trailers within the yard, ensuring efficient placement and retrieval.Verify and ensure the correct trailer is positioned at the correct door according to schedule and product specifications.

• Logistics and Compliance

• Manage paperwork including manifests, delivery documents, and other logistics paperwork as required. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
