CDL Truck Driver - Class A

Description POSITION DETAILS Fully understand how to operate and safely drive assigned vehicle Pick-up and safely transport product to the intended destination Ensure contents are properly secured to prevent damage/injury Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery Communicate with dispatch as needed Confirm that the contents of each shipment load match the manifest document Perform inspections of the vehicle prior to and following each trip Ensure vehicle is kept clean Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered Follow delivery schedule to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs Track and report working hours Adhere to company rules and regulations Obey all applicable traffic laws Comply with ICC and DOT regulations Make safety a priority at all times Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED equivalent required Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) class A required Clean driving record with no moving violations 2 years of experience in commercial truck driving Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen and physical examination Self-started who works well independently Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles
