Training, experience or knowledge in the field of commercial driving customarily acquired by a course of specialized intellectual instruction, studies or experience Must be a certified CDL examiner through the Nevada DMV and maintain this certification throughout the term of their employment Must have a valid CDL Class A driver's license issued by the state of Nevada Must have basic computer capabilities and know how to navigate a web browser Duties and Responsibilities: Test WNC CDL students on the three components of the DMV exam (pre-trip inspection, yard skills, and road driving), in alignment with all DMV requirements Conduct tests in an equitable and ethical manner with safety as the top priority Maintain proper documentation of all exams performed Supervision received will be minimal; incumbent will need to exercise independent judgment in determining whether or not students have met the requirements of each portion of the exam Compensation: $35 an hour Exempt No Full-Time Equivalent 48.8% Required Attachment(s) Resume Copy of valid CDL Class A Driver's License Posting Close Date 06/30/2030 Note to Applicant Newly hired faculty must assure that their official transcript is sent by the degree granting institution(s) to Western Nevada College, Human Resources Office within 30 calendar days from the effective date of employment.
