Our focus on operational excellence, safety, and service drives our team to set standards that our competitors can't match. As the CDL Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for supporting the work of our Line Haul Team across the state of Ohio.

You'll be responsible for establishing training programs and delivering on driver safety.

Job Description: Develop and train Pony Xpress CDL Drivers across the state of Ohio.

Assist with all onboarding activities, including road testing and ride alongs.

Oversee safety training for both new and existing drivers. Complete the necessary documentation for driver and work closely with Operation Manager to determine additional training/safety needs.

Ensure drivers are able to master skills including, but not limited to:

Full Pre-Trip Inspection, Basic Control Skills and Road Driving. Qualifications: Must have a Valid CDL Class-A license, DOT Medical Certificate, and the ability to clear a background test and drug-screen Minimum of 3 years verifiable over-the-road (OTR) or local commercial driving experience Must be able to travel throughout the State of Ohio, and work a flexible schedule Strong leadership skills with servant-leader approach Reliable professional who is proactive, self-motivated, and forward thinking Motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and quickly change direction Job Description Position Summary: Are you a skilled CDL Instructor, who loves training and safety?
